NC+ 12-48 Wins Our Plot Again
Our 2024 Corn Plot was located just west of Bellaire, Kansas, north of Highway 36. The NC+ corn variety 12-48 DG VT2PRIB won the plot for the second year in a row.
NC+ 12-48 has outstanding yield performance. Overall stalk health is very good, with late season staygreen and plant intactness. The moderate plant height helps assist the late season standability. Emergence is above average with very good uniformity and stand establishment. The flex ear allows moderate seeding rates and great response to variable rate seeding.
The other top performers in this year's plot were NC+ 14-88PRIB, NC+ 13-60 PCE and NC+ 13-31 SSPRO.
